Here's the link to my Listening activity video on Edpuzzle : I chose this video for my students at 4º ESO because we are doing a project on Women and Girls in Science to celebrate and commemorate the 11th of February. The video deals with the topic of women in space and contains easy to understand language, but it is challenging due to the speed of the audio and the amount of informationit gives. The learning objectives are to acquire listening skills present in the evaluation criteria for 4ºESO, raise awareness on equality and the role of women in multiple fields of knowledge and also improve students ICT skills. S tudents in class are explained that they will have to watch a video at home and answer some questions related to it using Edpuzzle (flipped classroom). Hi! Here’s one of my students’ presentations using Genially , it's about Mae Jemison . Here's how we made the presentations: Stage 1: Students are put in groups of 3, I let them choose the groups this time, I sometimes group them myself according to different learning levels. Stage 2: Students are explained about the project: they need to do a presentation using Genially. They will have 5 days in the ICT room to finish it. They will have to look up for information, cite their sources and present the project orally in the class. Every student will read some parts of the Genially text, and there is a minimum of 3 slides per presentation plus sources and cover. They are given a handout with the evaluation criteria they will be evaluated on: writing and speaking skills. Stage 3: Students go to the ICT room for 5 days. I monitor their work by registering their process and what they do everyday Stage 4: Students present their Genially. I believe this tool has been very ...
